The Isle of Wight is a beautiful place — but it contains some of the most deprived areas in the UK. Many children have never visited the beach, let alone stepped on a boat.
We fund qualified RYA instructors to teach every Year 5 child to sail, working with Sea View Yacht Club in Seaview and the UK Sailing Academy in Cowes. By 2027, we aim to reach all 37 island primary schools.
