Seaview Sailing Trust · Registered Charity 1198176
Transparent. Accountable. Built for the long term.
The Seaview Sailing Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. We were formally incorporated in February 2022, growing out of a schools sailing programme established by Sea View Yacht Club in 2017.
We are governed by a Board of Trustees who give their time voluntarily and are responsible for the strategic direction, financial oversight, and legal compliance of the charity. We are committed to the highest standards of transparency — our donors and the communities we serve deserve nothing less.
Our accounts and trustee reports are submitted annually to the Charity Commission in accordance with our obligations as a registered charity.
Our Charitable Purpose
The advancement of education and training for the public benefit of children, in particular from Isle of Wight primary schools, by the provision of sailing, watersports and land-based activities, in order to enhance their physical and mental development and self-confidence.
